A customer once ordered a matched pair of views of an Alaskan bay, from way up on a ridge above town. Seems he spent a memorable day down below, hauling up a huge fish from a very small boat, with a favorite aunt along to stand witness. He anchored her loyalty with one of my full sheet watercolors, a sunrise scene with the colors matched to her wallpaper and living room furniture. Oh, and another just like it for himself.
